Accord is here....woooto.....

After waiting for 1 whole month after paying the deposit for it, my mum's new car is finally here! It actually came earlier than expected, as we thought it will only reach our hand at end of November, which is a good thing as I no need share my precious Wankel with my mum!

The model we get is the face-lifted 2.0 VTi-L Honda Accord. It had many of the features that only the 2.4 liter version had before this, such as leather interior, cruise control, a fully electrically-adjustable 8-way driver’s seat with power lumbar support, leather door lining and door mirrors with turn signals. But then.... 2.0L for such a huge heavy car? Gosh!!!!!!!

At Honda 3S center, my mum is trying to adjust the side mirror before driving it out for the first time. I still remember when I first get my car, I straight away ask the salesman to help me take out all the plastic on the seats before I sat on it, but my mum prefer to do it slowly, so let her enjoice the feeling on seating at plastics! :D

Me as the escoter, follow her all the way back to home. I never really like the Accord, and was really against it when my mum decided to get it. I wanted her to get the Mazda6 as it had a sleeker design compare to the Accord, but my mum just don't like it.

However, I do find that the face-lifted Accord looks really not bad when I was driving behind it. I guess the color of the car, Taffeta White really made the car looks nice.

Pictar time!

The rims are fugly in my opinion....gosh...

Some interior peek.... the plastics on the seats are finally gone!

Looks plain now but when at night, it actually looks OK....

Not bad design, but I really don't understand why the screen in the middle need to be that big when really not much information were displayed there.

It also have the dual temperature function for the air-corn, which I doubt had much use.

Some pretty messy engine bay since it's not covered, and I am really sad looking at the 2.0 liter engine. One good thing is that the bonet is hydraulic type though.

I had drove it a few times since the car is in the garage, and personally I find that its better than expected. The power is quite smooth, easily reach 100kmh ++ although I didn't rev it hard at all. I haven't try to push it hard yet, as it's still new. After 1st service, then its time to push to max rpm! *Grins....

Power wise, the 2.0 Accord seems better than the 2.0 Mazda6, but overall comfort for such a grand sedan, the Mazda6 is better and quieter too. Mazda6 is still funner to drive if compare to the Accord. Anyway, those doesn't concern me much since I will be seating at the rear seats most of the time at this car....Muhahahahhahahah

lol, as i told you. if your mom insists on the accord and its something you can't stop. then tafetta white it is. i guess for your mom's case, having 2 litres is good enough. when my mother menopause or PMS, she pedal to the metal on the 1.8 kompressor, damn scary! lol. so better let her have a slow car, least she doesn't go do crazy stuffs, lol

if your mom allows freestyling, go change a set of bling VIP rims and keep the stock one, where u can use in case of service or warranty claims :D lol
