Hong Kong Day 2!

Since my mum is quite bored of the tour trip last night, she decided not to go for the 1/2 day city tour trip with us, so only left me and Li Yong.

We were bring straight for "Dim Sum", and you guys must be thinking, holy mama, Hong Kong Dim Sum wo, must be very good very powderful liao! But NO! We only got 8 choice of "Dim Sum" which include porridge and "bao", and it's easily one of the worst "Dim Sum" I ate before! It's so lousy that I don't bother to take a picture of it.

After breakfast, we went to Hong Kong island. This time we were taking a picture of Kowloon as our background. And nope, don't simply guess, it's just the funny hand position of my girlfriend, nothing else!

Our next stop is the Hong Kong first fish village. It's still there after so many years. Jumbo, the famous chinese restaurant is also here. It's also the place where you can see in most Hong Kong film, where either the rich one, or the "hak seh hui" having their gathering there.

Oh, and I still remember, the last time I came here, we wanted to have dinner there too. But end up both me and my mum puke like mad due to the rough sea that particular night.

After the village, we went to some temple not temple sort thingy, which I forget whats the name of the place, and where it is liao. I just know there's a bridge that if you walk pass it once, you will be able to have 3 extra days to live in your whole life. Well, it's 3 days in heaven, while 1 day in heaven is equals to 3 years in human time, so total it will add a freaking 9 years to your life!!

Really manyak orang walk ooooo.....

The happy Buddha, touch the stomach and you will feel more happy as the stomach will collect your unhappiness, thus why it become so black liao.....

I am pretty scare when my girlfriend touch this. Why? It's the god that will give you kids!!! ZOMG!

The love god, aka "yuet lou".

Those house at the hill there are where those mega rich people stay, guess which one is Jackie Chan house?

After this, we went for our lunch, and guess what, we had almost the same dish as what we had last night! Again, something not worth to take pictures of, and I guess I am lucky because I don't need to eat with them again anymore as our tour finish liao, after this will be free and easy time.

After lunch, we went back to hotel, and do some shopping at Tsim Sha Tsui. My leg already start to pain that time, and thanks a lot to my Bonia shoe....stupid shoe.

Our dinner is also some place near our hotel, and when I saw a restaurant served "Hang Zhou" style dish, I wanted to go and try, but it's full house inside. So we just simply enter the restaurant beside it to have our dinner. Amazingly, there's only 1 table with people inside, such a great contrast huh?

These are used to cook for our soup. The name is very very long, and no way I can remember it. However, its just a very normal soup in my opinion.

The crab is worse, I tried these before at Penang, and it's way way better. My score? 1/10.

"Xiong tong yun choi", another failed dish from the restaurant.

The toufu is OKOK though.

"Goose Leg" , one of my favorite dish! This is really good! Yum yum......

There's actually another fish, but I can't find where's the picture is. I remember clearly I got take a picture of it, but.... Anyway, although the fish is quite expansive (should cost more than Rm100), but the fish is not nice. Not only they cook it until too salty, but the fish itself really not good.

After dinner, we decided to walk around, and yesh, I am happy when I found "hui lao san" is nearby! I saw from Lowyat forum that the desert here is something to die for, and it really doesn't disappoints me.

Yum yum, the mango is really sweet and nice. The mango ice cream is nice too. Saw the white thing on the left? It's actually made of coconut, and called coconut koey teow. I will give a whole damed 10/10 score for this.

The other desert we order is the coconut bird nest thingy. The bird nest was cooked with coconut, and it's really really wonderful. Another 10/10 score from me!

"Hui Lao San" is really a must visit place if you ever went to Hong Kong, and this conclude my day 2 here.

I wonder....

Sometimes I really wonder, should we really onto our principles? Is dignity really that important? Or in the end money is still everything?

Should we really cool down, and think that money is the best and everything, or shall we hold on our stand and go for it? How does successful people do it?

A word from the creative forumer at Kopitiam sub forum from LYN, he said "what is principle? can it be eated?"

This sentence really make me think......really....

Hong Kong Day 1!

Yeaha, back from Hong Kong. This is my third visit to Hong Kong already. It's been almost 7 years since my last visit, and I expect a huge change there :D

It's been some time since my last travel oversea with my parents, the last was to Taiwan which was like few years back already.

Oh, and it was also some time since I last board an airplane without carrying the name of Air-Asia.

After 5 hours, we finally reach Hong Kong airport! We stopped in Kuala Lumpur for like 1 hour, hence it take so long to reach. My ass was pain after seating so long at the plane.

Three of us went for the Hong Kong 1/2 day city night view tour, while my dad went back to the hotel and sleep. Our first stop was the "Ladies street", which we only got one hour to walk around before we leave for our next destination. Thanks a lot to the heavy traffic from airport to the town!!!!

We were starving, but luckily there are loads of small stall selling food here.

I saw loads of shops selling movies, and I really wanted to get some blu and blue movies there, but due to the limited time, I only manage to get some "chao tau fu"!!! Both my mum and girlfriend just bite once and throw the rest to me.

After that, we went to the "Xing Guang Da Dao", where all the Chinese actor and actress left their hand prints there. I don't really bother about those "hand", so I went on and take a picture with the Hong Kong island as the background, but things turn bad.

Finally it's time for dinner! We had roasted goose, which is something famous in Hong Kong, and rare in Malaysia. The goose is actually quite nice, but the rest of the dish is just "yeuk". I really hate the food served if you follow tour. Grrrr....!

Next stop will be the peak. The view here is actually quite nice, but due to the weather, I am unable to take a clear picture. I even pay for RM25 to ask the professionals photographer there to take the picture, but the quality is still disappointing.

We then visit the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, which is also located at the peak. There's a Jackie Chan wax figure just at the entrance of the museum, but you have to pay RM80 for the picture, so just forget it.

However, many things happened inside the museum....

Me become nazis...

Climbing out from the hole....

Got pawn by Yao Ming....

And I peep....

Finally, I also become part of the wax figure....

New toy from HK

Well, just back from Hong Kong, although it's a shopping heaven at Asia, but I really don't have enough time to shop there, actually I only have 1/2 day available there although my whole trip is 4 days 3 night there.

However, I am able to get something there, and some of the stuff is something that I want long time ago.

New shoes that will make me forget about the Prada's one that I wanted. It can also made me forget my Bonia shoes that made my leg hurts so much when I wore it and walk for 2 whole days at Hong Kong. Shoes made in Italy is really something different :D

Another pair of jeans, guess it's enough jeans for me until next year.

Something I got when at Hong Kong airport :p

RIP kyo....

Goodbye my friend, jian yi aka kyo.

You are always helpful and friendly, was shocked andd sad when i saw the news from Licia blog.

Rest in peace.....

More lights on dashboard!~~!

When I finish my lunch yesterday, a new light at my dashboard pops up and greet me.

It's the check engine light. I tried to turn off the engine, and re-crank it, but the light is still there! I was like OMG what happened, I remember that I saw some post at Rx8clubmalaysia.com about this, and it may cost hundreds to repair it.

I was thinking that, shit I gota go to Mazda service center tomorrow liao, which is sort of a good thing, so that I can snake from working, and since my car still under warranty, I doubt they dare to charge me on this.

I put my blame on the kancil I saw before the lights came out:

Notice the different?

Yeap, it come with a Mazda badge. I think my car is confuse with the identity crisis, thinking why suddenly she got a new brother. She might also thought that the kancil is super duper powderful and who knows, scared of the kancil since it had a engine capacity of 660cc, which is higher than my car 1.3L Renesis engine which had a geometry and epitrochoidal dimension of 654cc for each of its two rotors only!

Well, luckily after I turn off the engine for sometime, the check engine light disappear, and so goes my chance to snake today.

Lunch with Kev and his friends...

Met with Kev, ericmaxman and JonSpark last week. I had not seen Kev aka the crazy neo driver for some time, it certainly bring back some crazy memories, and yes, my first accident at Genting too!!!

The crazy driver:

JonSpark and Ericmaxman, both from LYN and Kampar.

Kev was supposing come and collect the car he bought here, but due to the shop owner was away when they reach, we went for lunch first. Food was not bad, RM60++ for 4 person.

Kev's was driving Neo when I first known him, after that he drove the Mercedes C-Class W202 (or is it W203?). Then now he had his eye set on his new car! It's a Honda, the Honda S600!!

Below is his car at the workshop, preparing to be towed back to Kampar, and for restoration progress before it was able to be driven on the road! Besides, the they key was lost too already, so....hm....great salute to Kev for getting this rare breed :p

My dog was sent for training!!!

Finally my nubcase dog was sent for training. This dog really need some hard beating from the trainer, and need to be trained to become more obedient. Nowadays, when it saw you, it will just jump on you, forgetting that it's stupid finger nail is super sharp, and thus hurting it's owner. Besides, the mud, sand and everything include it's own shit might be on your shirt if it jump on you! Grrrrr......!!!!

Besides, when you let it out of it's cage, it will become like mad dog, and never wanted to go back to it's cage, even if you try to cheat it with food!!!! Once when it's out of its' cage, and the gate is wide open, it run out of the house, and we had a hard time trying to ask it come back. Luckily no one was on the street that day, or else they will scare to their shit.

The trainer and the dog. We pay him Rm1500 for a 6 weeks training. Hopefully it will become an obedient dog, and not a mad dog after 6 weeks.

Oh. besides, it also forget it's owner (me and my mum) when we visit it 3 days after it was sent to the trainer....grrr!!!!

Wash and wax my car again

I try to make a habit myself to wax my car every month, so today it's been exactly 1 month since I last wax it. Although I hate to wake up early at weekends, but I still try my very best to wake up at 7.30am so that I can start the job at 8 am.

I start with washing the rims first. Below is all the stuff I needed to clean the rims.

Firstly, I spray the Meguiars Hot Rims cleaner on my rim, wait for 15 seconds then only I rinse it with water, and use the cloth to wipe it clean. I also use the brush to clean my tyre to make it looks nice.

After that, I rinse through my car with water, and I use Meguiars wash mitt (the white thing) with Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash. 2 pails of water are also used to minimize the scratches on the car.

After that, I will rinse through the whole car with water again, and then wipe it dry with Meguiars Water Magnet. The water magnet is not really good in wiping the car dry in my opinion, as it won't really wipe it 100% dry, or will leave some tiny cloth on the surface of the car. Anyone got better choice to recommend me?

Newspaper is still the best in wiping dry the glass.

Since my car is still new, it's still ok to just wax it rather than need to clay or polish it first. Hence, I proceed directly to wax it. Meguiars Professional Synthetic Sealant was used to wax almost 90% of the car body, while Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer are used for those black plastic park. I use the applicator pad from Meguairs too to apply the wax and trim detailer, and use a microfiber cloth to wipe it off.

Finally the whole car was applied with a thin layer of wax. Since I need to wait 15 minutes for the wax to dry off, I use the time to apply the trim detailer. Those black plastic will slowly turn white and no more shinny black if you did not apply any trim detailer on it after long expose under the hot sun.

While I am waxing, my cute pretty mum helps me by cleaning the interior. Sonax leather care foam was used for the leather chair, and cockpit cleaner was used for other part. Thanks very much to Yukito for sending me these.

After 15 minutes, I wipe of the wax and finally my car is done. Its back to mirror shine~~~!

Below are all the items that I used today. It cost me a small fortune when I purchase it last time.

The total wash and wax process takes me 2 hours and 30 minutes. If not because of my mum help on the interior, it might take even longer! Besides, I also just finish from waxing it and haven't bath yet when I am posting this :p

Time to go for a bath!

PS: I also notice that my car need to be sent for polish soon already. There are many scratches from small stone/sand when driving on the road. Will do it when I am at KL next month before HPC maybe.
